Please make sure your pet is accessible for their house call. If you think anxiety medication might help your pet, please let us know in advance.
For cats who tend to hide, we recommend placing them in a small bathroom shortly before we arrive, with countertops and floors cleared.
For dogs who are wary of new people, have a leash available and close any dog doors before our visit.
Dr. Merry adapts exams to your pet and what works for them, avoiding the stress of an exam table. In practice, this looks like sitting on the floor with larger dogs, joining pets on the couch, holding cats in a lap, or finding what keeps them most comfortable.
The physical exam is only part of the visit. We spend time discussing your pet’s environment, diet, and quality of life, with vaccinations and diagnostic testing as needed.
After the examination, Dr. Merry answers questions and develops a healthcare plan for your pet.
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept Venmo, checks, debit and credit cards.
Once the visit is complete, your pet can get back to enjoying the comforts of home.
